  • 1910 – To educate the people, Khandige Shambatta and Ishwara Bhatta Started Sumitra Darshana Sabha in the premises of peradala udaneshwara temple
  •  1911 – Sanskrit Elementary school was started in the premises
  • 1913 – Recognition was granted as advanced sanskrit school; named as ”Mahajana Patashala”
  • 1915 – School shifted to the present location for convenience
  • 1918 – Sumitra Dharshana Sabha was revised as Havyaka Dravida Brahmins Vidyabhivardaka Sanga
  • 1920 – Madrass University upgraded Mahajana Patashala as an Oriental College
  • 1933 – Sahithya Shiromani Title Course, Vidwan with Kannada Main and Sanskrit Subsidiary course was introduced
  • 1938 – Silver Jubilee was held for 3 days
  • 1952 – Sanskrit College was converted to oriental high school to give modern subjects.
  • 1953 – The name was improvised to Mahajana Vidyabhivardaka Sangha.
  • 1955 – Last batch of Sanskrit Entrance appeared.
  • 1956 – School set up was divided in to Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School as per new rules.
  • 1957 – Oriental High School became General High School
  • 1958 – First Batch of SSLC appeared.
  • 1964 – Last batch of of Vidwan courses appeared for public exams.
  • 1964 – Golden Jubilee.
  • 1974 – Diamond Jubilee.
